Francesca DeRose D.D.S.
Dr. DeRose concentrates her practice on a conservative approach to restorative and cosmetic dentistry for adults. She is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, and has extensive experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry - much to the acclaim of many happy patients. Dr. DeRose is past President of the Racine Dental Association and has served in representative positions with both the Wisconsin Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She served on the ADA's Council on Dental Benefits to improve insurance claim processing and is a part-time faculty member at Marquette University School of Dentistry.
She enjoys working with her daughter, Dr. Maria DeRose Barnes at DeRose Dental in Racine, Wisconsin and is very proud that both of her daughters graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry and continue to carry on the family tradition of providing excellent dental care services.
Maria DeRose Barnes D.D.S.
Dr. Maria Barnes grew up in the Kenosha/Racine area and graduated from Mary D Bradford High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Madison and then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she also served as Class President. Dr. Barnes practices with her mother, Dr. DeRose, where she enjoys continuing the 3rd generation of DeRose Dental in Racine, Wisconsin. She feels extremely grateful and excited to be providing dental care to the communities where she grew up.
Dr. Barnes is member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association and Racine Dental Association where she served as the Racine Dental Association President from 2022-2024 and now serves as Secretary. Dr. Barnes was elected by her dental peers to the Wisconsin Dental Association Board of Trustees in 2021 and served a four year term, ending in 2024. In 2024 Dr. Barnes was nominated by her peers and inducted into the International College of Dentists, an organization that recognizes outstanding professional achievement, service and dedication to the progress of dentistry.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Barnes enjoys being involved in the community through volunteering at various organizations. Whenever she has a free weekend you will find her spending time with her husband and young children and enjoying the many state parks and natural areas that Wisconsin has to offer.
