Founded in Racine, Wisconsin, over 60 years ago, DeRose Dental is a general dentistry family practice that values the relationships it has built both with families and individual patients over the years.
The founders Drs. Michael and Dr. Dorothy DeRose led an extraordinary journey to establish their practice. Dr. Dorothy was the first female pediatric dentist in Wisconsin, while Dr. Michael was a gum disease specialist. From there, the practice was handed down in the family, with Dr. Dorothy’s daughter Dr. Francesca DeRose taking it over and Dr. Francesca’s daughter Dr. Maria DeRose Barnes joining it currently. Today, the practice carries with it the passion of commitment and expertise that started it all.
Through a comprehensive and compassionate approach, the team at DeRose Dental makes the education of their patients a priority. They take the time to make sure their patients understand what their dental condition is and what treatment options are available to them.
DeRose Dental offers patient services including but not limited to crowns, veneers, dental implants, root canals, ClearCorrect™ aligners, gum disease treatment, fillings, and ZOOM tooth whitening.

Dr. Francesca DeRose
Dr. Francesca DeRose concentrates her practice on a conservative approach to restorative and cosmetic dentistry for adults. She is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry and has extensive experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry - much to the acclaim of many happy patients. Dr.Francesca DeRose is past President of the Racine Dental Association has served in representative positions with both the Wisconsin Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She served on the ADA's Council on Dental Benefits to improve insurance claim processing and is a part-time faculty member at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Maria Barnes
Dr. Maria Barnes grew up in the Kenosha/Racine area and graduated from Mary D Bradford High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Madison and then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she also served as Class President. Dr. Maria Barnes practices with her mother, Dr. Francesca, where she enjoys continuing the 3rd generation of DeRose Dental in Racine, Wisconsin. She feels extremely grateful and excited to be back providing dental care to the communities where she grew up.
